Why aren’t any Albanian restaurants around Boston area ?
The true Albanian restaurants in Boston are very hard to find as our cuisine is not as popular around this area. Mostly our menu will consist on something similar to the greek cuisine for example spinach pie(byrek), pastiche, etc. To be honest Albanian food can be very greasy but that’s what makes it delicious and tasty so if you are looking to lose pounds Albanian restaurants may not be the best choice for you unless you order a salad which can also be heavy in olive oil.

What I like the most about our kitchen is berzolla with beers, that’s some really good dish and I like to see that offered in boston restaurants whether its Albanian , Greek or Italian. Raki is another traditional Albanian drink that can be surely added to any Mediterranean restaurant menu. In Boston I haven’t seen many Mediterranean restaurants that offer Albanian food and its sometime hard to find the really good dish. With the exception of Anthony’s Pier 4 restaurant, which seems to be the only one in Boston as far as Albanian cuisine goes but that place is extremely expensive and I was not satisfied with the food either. The views there are great overlooking the ocean but not my favorite place.
I would like to see at least one Albanian restaurant somewhere in Boston that can at least replicate our food properly.
Do you know any place? Let me know and I will put it up here.

Our Dwarf Adoption Story (Little Person Exploitation Network) — TLC: “David and Tina, both in their mid-30s and under 4-ft tall, refuse to let their stature keep them from their goal of being good parents.
Their spirited daughter Raegan, also a dwarf, will soon have a little brother after her parents travel to adopt him.” TLC has now featured 98% of all little people in America. This hour-long special follows the daily lives of David and Tina King, a dwarf couple who hope to adopt their second child — a 2-year-old dwarf from Albania.
The story shows some parts of Elbasan, Albania during their visit. I thought this was a very interesting story as it took place in our home country.
The boys name is Nikolla and he is very cute. Once he gets to US he keeps going into hes new sister’s room and she keeps kicking him out and he goes right back. Very funny!

Recently the Albanian flag was waving along the Massachusetts and USA flags near the immigration building in respect to the Albanian Independence Day. I was very surprised to see it as I did not expect it to be up there. I am very happy to see that the Albanian flag was standing up high in Boston’s Federal Building and I really appreciate the respect USA shows to our country.
